sorry about that, in english i mean: i have been looking at some models people have made, and was intending to do the same, does anyone know of a simple tutorial to make a model, what materials are used etc.
To start with dont complicate too much with expensive foams, clay and tools. You may start just with cheap white foam, glue, a cutter, and 2 different Grit sanding paper:1 medium grit to take off lot of material & the other very fine grit to give smoothness.
I´m working on a model now with those materials. I selected some picks of the beginnig process. If u want to have a look...
cheers.so you just make the basic shape out of foam and put the clay on top, then smooth out the clay into your shape. do i need a wooden base to start with to give more strength?

I didnt put the clay on top & I´m not going to do that. I am a beginner at modeling so what I want to achieve are skills on that. What I have done so far in previous models is just cover the shaped foam with plaster and polish it...it´s cheap and ´easy´. I posted a topic a time ago tittled ´my first attempt with plaster. There you may see some pics of a ´final´model. At this stage I haven´t needed any wooden armature. Well, give it a go and practice. I still on it. Bye
