You dont attach them! Its easier to move them into a "cool" looking direction to make them look like its turning a corner etc, if you just leave them free!
Are the RC model wheels? If so they might detract from the rest of the design. Big shiney silver wheels will catch the eye more than a brown/grey car. The wheels are not your design so dont advertise that they arent, if you see what I mean?
At Coventry when we were making clay models, we used round styrofoam or mdf blocks painted black with a photocopy or a photoshop'd wheel design stuck onto them.
thanks for the reply!! but its supposed to go on display, and i dont want the wheels falling off i you say you went to COventry Uni. i am currently in sixth form and i really want to go to Coventry. is it really hard to get in?

You put the wheels in place, what we did was to use a circular sander and sanded a flat spot on the tyres, that stopped them from rolling away and kept them in place.
Depends how good your work is! I didnt have enough to show at the interview, so the 2 tutors that interviewed me suggested I do an art foundation course at cov, if you pass that your guaranteed a place on your preferred degree course. I loved the course, but hated cov! 5 years there is a very long time!
when you say A1 folio, do you mean its made up of a lot of small sketches and not just one massive sketch? it must have been quite something carrying that on the train!
