Hi Subvicto,

The tapes that you are talking about are by Chartpak or Formaline. These tapes are a thin crepe material and can be found at most good art supply stores or warehouses. These are mainly used by graphic artistes but the crepe tape works good on clay models because of its ability to stretch around the forms.

It also comes as a vinyl tape but the properties are not good for clay models, used mainly on mylar drawings.
