If a labor union demands too much money for the workers, the manufacturer can have some of their cars made by some chinese company, lay off some of it's workers, and when the workers are grateful that they have jobs, they dont have to raise wages. I believe this is called a free market economy.

think about it, it would be awesome and inexpensive.
The only bad part of the ultimate car would be the American Engine. American Engines are a disgrace. It would be better if it were a Japanese Engine =].

China can train athletes at such a young age. Not only that children are sent off to sport camps. The talented ones stay and the not so talented ones leave. Keeping that in mind. Maybe this is too extreme. If China considered design the major selling factor in the automobile industry. Since creativity can be determined at an early age China could horde thousands of children at a young age to focus only on design. Weeding out the ones who lack in creativity and fueling those who have it.
One more thing, it is sad to see a constant flow negative reaction when someone mentions Chinese cars. I remember watching FOX news when one of the broadcasters mentioned Chinese cars replacing the U.S SUV. She had this gnarly frown on her face. It feels as though their promoting comtempt toward the Chinese.
I think most of this has to do with China's recent successful launch into space WITHOUT any help from the other countries.
One last thing General Motors is already falling apart. 30,000 people lost their job to GM.
