But its cool idea to replace sheet metal with a fabric skin. Its a concept thats at least 10 years old (hint hint the z4 cues and dated looking interior, it also hints next gen z2,z4 and z8)actually the entire design looks dated to me. its 2001 flame surfacing, and a bit drab to me not as progressive as the CS...its the skin that saves it.

having this replace for the next generation, price of production would be much cheaper replacing metal over fabrics... good concept, highly doubt its gonna be market productional.
i really like the way the door opens, except for the material crinkling at a certain point. if there is a way to keep that material tight and clean, it would look just perfect. bmw pushing the edge imho .D

hello everyone, WOW, that "Gina" BMW is incredible!! I love the way the doors open and the head lights are very James Bond style. It even reminds me a little of that TV car----"Knight Rider", very futuristic.
I was speaking more on the Pre-Scan system instead of the car, which I never grew to love. But a suspension that reads terrain in front of it and adjusts according before its reached, sounds very promising from what i've been reading.

Was the laser sights embedded in the headlights? or were the headlight simply designed to support pronouncing its "scanning" idea? Great idea, although I thought Audi would've come up with it first...
