The brand new 750i and 750li.

I think it looks sleek, attractive but a bit boring. interesting details are abound. (the headlamps, double kink, the taillamps that make the rear look tall and wide, imo)

i need to see more hi res pics to make my final judgement

Nice arguments considering they began to work out of the same wheel base and frame parts they had, I think 7 series has been one step behind compared to the rest of the family, this time is not introducing a new dialog as the last one did, this means that next BMW release must be another big one.

I am finding it hard to understand why there is even ANY discussion on this absolutely run-of-mill-nothing-new design.
Let's face it, Chris Bangles always was a flash in the pan, self-promoting egomaniac with very limited (or zero) talent. So to assume that he was some kind of design genius, which any practicing professional designer with actual time on the board would know was a complete hoax, is ludicrous.
Why don't we open a thread on the fabulous qualities of Wonder Bread?

It's not a very photogenic car. But watch some videos of it driving around and it's exterior lighting on Youtube, I think it's a really good design.

after seeing it more, its more of a rehash of the facelifted 7. the only exciting aspect of the exterior is the tail lamps, which amaze me the more i see them. their so....BMW....Razz

Be careful when judging a car before actually having seen it on the street.

However, a positive point in my opinion is the very big front grille in combination with the overall beautiful and very vertical front profile. The grille is kept so round that it appears to be ironic. It is simply eccellent.

What disturbs me is 1. the rear view end that curves up very much too vertically on the outer ends.

@Vexed

You're totally right, the front lights look very E65-like, whilst the rear ones appear to look a bit odd. The main parts of them simply do not fit with the smaller ones on the trunk.

All in all, I expected the new F01 to be like this:

@Marco

Thats pretty much a toned down version of the Concept CS. Dont think BMW will take another giant leap just yet. Though I do agree that the render looks good.

@ Mr Burns

I agree. most of BMW's cars are not photogenic. But when you see one in person its just amazing how the surfaces plays with the lights. And the size of the 7 series gives it an overwhelming presences.
