Hi guys,

Learning a new language can never hurt and will bring postives to daily life and career life.

I has some german learning CDs that I would like to start myself on and hopefully take classes in the future. Will this give me any sort of edge on the competition in the coming years? (september I will begin college)

how vital is this to getting a job in a german company?

normally every german speaks english (with wierd pronunciation)

but i came to know an american, who learned german (at college?) and actually got a job there - he told me that it helped him on his daily schedule

so in my opinion, to learn another language is always a good thing and shows that you are open towards other cultures - so go ahead and good luck
