Hi My question is about toyota companies.Do Toyota agencies can have designing part???I have heared that all the world agencies can send their new designs to the main Toyota, and Toyota use them in it's new products. Is it true???Please guide me in this field.
I think that Toyota neither give orders to design agencies nor use ideas from them for their projects. They have an own design centre and paid designers, so why should they have the need for other sources of creativity?
Toyota does indeed have many of its own designers and studios. However there are many deivisions and departments handling design within toyota.
These divisions regulary use outside design consultancies from around the world. Infact some consultancies have been responsible for the creative design and build of concept show cars.
You have to understand that Toyota group includes Daihatsu, Lexus and several other less well known brands. Even with huge design studios there is an increadible number of projects on going and they simply have to farm out some of the work to trusted suppliers to get it done.
With out going into detail, I have first hand knowledge of toyota design work being carried out by outside companies.
With the same proviso the same is true of lots of big name OEMs who for whatever reason want to have consultancies doing work for them. Its quite varied and interesting work. Id be interested as to how Poolo and the others compare consultancy and OEM studio work, pluses and minuses like.
Hi Thankyou friends for your answers. What about companies that have some studios in other countries?I think Aston has studio in some other countries. Is'nt it?
