Oh, don't get me wrong. I think Honda is at the top on engineering. Their study a while back on personal mobility was needed, and I think Toyota seems to be running with that at the motor shows these days. What saddens me is that if I were in the market for a tech-geek piece today, I'd be looking at a Mercedes Smart. And I don't know if I want to spend a good chunk of the year with Gunthram and Klaus (yes, they really do exist in Santa Monica) in the service bay. I'm spoiled with spending a little bit of time, and not having to worry about problems.
