Originally posted by autobild.de: After the initial shock of learning that they would have to design something completely different from all of their other vehicles, the design team at Porsche came up with a new car to challenge the upcoming Ferrari California. Based on a new front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, it will employ either a 2.0L GDi turbo I-4 producing 220hp for the base model, a twin-turbo variant of the same engine producing 245hp for the mid-range S and the limited production RS will have an enhanced version of the twin-turbo packing in an incredible 310hp. The Turbo and the Turbo S will have a 7,800rpm redline, while the RS will be able to rev up to 8,400rpm. As a result of the engine choices, the new baby Porsche will simply be called the Porsche Turbo.
Shown below is the RS variant, without any decals... PLEASE C&C AS THIS IS THE FIRST MARKER RENDER I DID MYSELF!!! Thanks!
Not bad at all for your first! You could show a bit of white peeking out from the horizon reflection for a sunset scenario, right now it looks like an overcast day. A touch darker in the ground reflection, and definately darker inbetween the spokes would help IMO. Good work overall keep it up.
First of all you have to understand the refelctions, you can´t just copy a tecnique. In my opinion it´s better to start with just one marker for the ground reflection and then just add some pastel chalk.
And if you want to design a porsche be aware that it has to be contemporary, your car is overstyled it´s a seat ibiza:-)
