you should focus on your perspective and do ALOT of quick sketches rather than renderings which takes longer and less practice. second, stay away from the ellipse guide. practice more with hand.
You have a long way to go before you get into one of the top design colleges in the US, from what I've seen of your work.
I am a Vehicle Design grad and none of my work is as good as some of the 1st years at the trans design colleges in the US. In my defence, I am a designer not a stylist!
As Cardesignboy said work on perspective before rendering, any monkey can render, the best sketchers get the decent jobs.

That's not exactly true. It's actually not hard to get into the top design colleges (CCS, for example), but it is hard to make it into car design programs once you're accepted and in your third year.
Thank you all for the help. You cant get any better as an artist untill you learn to take criticism and ultimately make it a positive experience to learn from.
You guys arent the first to tell me to do more sketches rather than renderings. My Pap who is also an artist is always telling me to get loose and draw lots of circles, lines, and arcs.
I realize now that for me to get any better, i need to stop worrying about all the detail in my drawings, but focus more on my fundimentals.
Thanks for the great advice, im going to do lots and lots of sketches now.
