what do you mean adapted? btw; that grainy/sandy texture is a bit rough for my taste:P How big is the sketch? 11x17? gouache is cool, not overbearing. Why don't you mix both green/red in one sketch? work the highlight w/ some yellow sunlight indication (I tried doing that by smearing light yellow gouache w/ my finger) to get "atmospheric". I'm trying to learn how to work multiple colors as well...

Sorry its "adapter", its like this handle thing where u put the marker into and on the end its got this metal cone with a hole which blows air onto the marker. Actualy i like that grainy texture, it adds that raw feel of traditional media, pastels seem to smooth out the render making it old school for me...it was done on 8X11 so thats why the grainy spray is bigger than what it would of been say on A3 size. Thanks

The grainy texture is fine, adds to it.
I can read the form on these sketches better than your previous ones.
