Dear all,

GOY is Sydney's upcoming performance vehicles designer and manufacturer. At such it is important for us to know the aesthetic perception of our cars. So we would like you to have a look at five of our concept lineups for 2008:

GOY Official Website

These designs are the combined efforts of 10 of designers who are also members of CDN Forum. Advanced constructive critics welcomed, but please bear in mind they are not finalised designs; they will be continually improved as we draw towards the 2012 production date.

Btw, we're also looking to expand our design team. So if you're interested and have an hour a day of free time, please do not hesitate to check out our attractive Member Scheme:

Cheers and talk soon...

We've started work in Nov 2006, but kept very much low key until just a few days ago when we launched our website on the 5th April 2008. You will definitely hear more about us soon. In the meantime, if you have any contacts, it will be very appreciated. Being a young startup, we will need all the help we can get. Thanks!

You know, I always thought religious people were a bit mental, making up funny stories and using them as justification to mean things to eachother. But I can now see I was totally wac(k)o in my views! God ´+ cars = AWESOME!
However I do think you couldve been a bit more ambitious in your mission statement: "A company based on strong biblical principles... To invest in the noble dreams of individuals and organisations, above all, to lift the standard of humanity and justice accross all nations"?
Come on, thats small fry! I think you like, totally ban global warming and make the sun cooler to stop all the eskimos falling in the sea. They cant swim you see?
All that said, your investment proposal is very tempting: "Not only will you invest (ie pay for everything), but you will also be helping to build a new generation of successful and (sic) company" (ie do all the work.) and then "we will give away a minimum of 10% of our annual prophet to ministries."
Where do I sign?
One piece of advice totally free and at 100% zero cost to you guaranteed might be that the grille looks really naff. But for the sake of the eskimos I can live with it.

The S2 sedan is, in my opinion, hands down your best design and incorporates your corporate grille quite nicely.

Interesting project guys.

Hey, I hope you werent bummed out about all that heavyweight business jive I was talking? You werent were you? You were probably thinking "Who the hell is this guy?" Im drunk, thats who I am. In a bar, waiting for someone. I guess I just let the excitement and the beer go to my head you know? Sorry for talking business in the bar, I know thats a pretty wack thing to do. We should be talking about movies or girls we like or something right? Did you see Xmen 3? Man that movie was terrible wasnt it? The first two were really good and then that piece of crap ruined the whole franchise. I mean, Juggernaut? Who even is that? They were really scraping the mutant barrel then. And why did Wolverine have to kill Jean Grey in order to stop her destroying the world with her powers? Why didnt they just shoot her with the mutant cure or use the bald kid with anti-mutant powers on her? I dont know. It just left a really bad impression on me because I was expecting a lot from it. Maybe Im being too harsh. What do you think? Do you want another drink? Cool, make mine a double Cube Libra (thats rum and coke in some other language. Did you know they dont have limes here? They have tiny green lemons that look exactly like limes but definitely are actually lemons! Can you imagine a mojito with lemon juice? Its terrible. Actually Id better go, my girl has arrived. Ok, well it was great talking to you. I guess if I can leave you with one piece of information to remember even if you forget the rest of our discussion, and that might come in handy in the future it would be this: A peanut is not actually a nut. Its true. Its a legume.

rich_hobo94,

To answer your question: I graduated from the Australian National Uni. as a Materials Engineer. And there was a plan to make GOY out of Fibre Metal Laminate (the stuff that's used to make the skin of the Airbus A380. But the plan was put on hold in favour of carbon fibre due to cost) Also, thank you for your offer to tell others about us and the coming sketch. It will be interesting to see what you will come up with. I'll pass them on to the team. Btw, we've also started a DeviantArt site for GOY showcasing some of our past 'work-in-progress'. It's located at:

GOY Revolution at DeviantArt

Bear in mind that it's a newly setup (Facebook) group, so we haven't done much yet, but will definitely add more stuff to it in the future.

Also, if you wish, you can join our Facebook group as well at:

GOY Facebook Group

JD + Coke,

Thanks for your very constructive comment. We're totally pumped now. I'm sure our boys would appreciate it if they also have some alcohol in their blood. We thought about reducing global warming... we were building an engine that's powered by nuclear fusion but runs on trash. Too bad it didn't pass because we worked out that the amount of shield needed to encase that system is about 3 tonnes and the engine will end up with the size of a ping pong table.

On a more serious note: As we said, "Automobiles are our passion, but charity is our mission." So the idea behind GOY is that "why not make good use of our skills and talents to make beautiful performance cars and do something significant that will change the lives around us?" That's how this project started. Currently we have 15 people on board, and also have the moral and advisory support of Lotus. In fact, I will be meeting our European team at Norwich (Lotus HQ) in May. So if you're interested, its still not too late to sign up. You may still make it for the trip.

hey i'm loving the idea, plus who could resist an entire lineup of sub 5 second cars. that grille might take some getting used to but i'm not into the whole grille thing anyway. some of these designs are quite nice especially the s2 and the coupe but others look unfinished. also some engineering and interior illustrations would be interesting and would be a definite plus for attracting investors. keep up the gud work.
