hi, this is the result of my masterthesis last year.. tell me what you think about the design, rendering and so on..
I used lightwave to model and render it

btw: it's a robot that cleans your pool in a natural way. It swims around in 3 dimensions (very slow) and filters the water.
Inside the robot (brown transparant part on one of the pics) lays the filter (coco fibres)
There is also a UV-unit to kill the algae.

I don't really like the design of it although the idea is really unique...And so are the renderings; just...WWOOWW!!

A question rests: How long would it take to "clean" a say 100m3-pool?

thanx for the comment.. it's not a car, I know, but I thought you people would be a bit open minded..
The robot will start in a clean pool with clear water and will be able to maintain it in that shape. Max pool size is 200 m3 and it will take 10 hours to do the job..

Dekus, you're right, but you should be more open minded. As a wannabe designer you should be looking around and be prepared to experience other influences and works.

Could be a good idea for a forum where members show work, not cardesigny stuff. Shows you a bigger world and stretches you more. Look at the scifi concept art work posted before, you didnt bleat then did you and that showed the talents of the guys and girls on here brilliantly. Be more open as the car world was always too caught up in not looking to other influences and being too wrapped up in itself. Thank god that changed, you should too if you want to get anywhere.
