For homework I have to draw many pages of economy car sketches. It has to be something relatively small (1-2 person) and should be making use of new, economic technology.

Here are my top picks from the 5 pages I did so far:

I did them on paper with copics so they look better in person Frown

On a side note, does anyone know where to get Letraset marker pad for cheap? It's about $25 for 50 sheets everywhere I go.. and I'm not in the financial mood to buy a new one every other week.

hey, nice start but...

everything is out of perspective and you aren't using markers correctly. rather than try to help you go to the student center at CCs and an upper term guy will help you allot. serously go there once a week

Okay well I'll try that out.. could you at least be more specific about where the perspective is wrong?

clockwise from top left:
-ellipse is off, front of car skewed right
-pretty good. think about line quality
-use a circle template
-assymetrical rear window, one or both ellipses off
-too narrow and ellipses off
-(tiny one)ok
-(bottom) draw a center line and center stuff. You tend to pull the far side of the car to the front.
-good, interesting design
-skewed badly to the right. ellipses too
-something odd with the front right fender, stuff skewed. again, center line

you would do well to pick up a set of curves, sweeps and circle/ellipse templates and to draw the center line in order to more easily visualize the placement of design elements.

That said, I have troubles with a lot of those problems too and would like to wish you the best of luck.

I'm in Trans too- do I know you LOL?

MK1 Golf all the way!
