For sketching and quicker presentation, I've seen a lot of people scan in their work into PS, clean them up, and then render. Look for Herald Belker's video instructionals or ones available on various sites.
oh, and as far as getting the programs... they're all crazy expensive. just get a key generator hacking program, download the trial version, then generate a serial code to use.
not that that's what i do or anything..... but many do.
Of course I plan on acquiring them through means that will cost me very little if at all so money is no issue. Out of alias sketchbook, corel painter and photoshop which one do you think would be my best bet. THe most well rounded and capable of the three.
Just as a small aside to this topic. Has anybody tried GIMP. Being free and legal, i am curious to hear the experiences of anybody who has tried it. Apart from that...Adobe Photoshop is king.
Whats this other program you talk of though....Illustrator? Sounds like the kind of thing a nut job might use?
