It's been a while since i posted anything here. I'm looking for some advice and professionel opinion on rendering. I've just bought markers and these are my first couple of attempts. Any suggestions, comments?

proportion and design issue aside, I think your rendering is not bad.

I like the top one! I think some accent lines would make the presentation look whole lot more exciting.

Hey, good stuff. The best advice I can offer is to practice copy-rendering the work of the ones you aspire to be like. Try it, it just... might... work...

David, how are you? I'm moving to Pasadena mid-August. I just saw your works again at deviantart.com you never posted the mitsubishi. That's one slick execution!

Hey Maryo. I'm doing fine, waiting word from banks on my loan application status. My classes at pasadena concept academy will begin from this weekend. Are you taking ACN classes this term?

Which drawing are you referring to? Do you have an online portfolio or deviant? Share one with me!

Same here. I just got a cosigner some days ago. I'm talking about the red off-road mitsubishi final render. I will post my stuff on deviant soon (cross finger). Not that confident though. lol! but I will. Im not taking any ACN. I've been playing a lot of video games, watched a lot of movies, read a lot of books. Just started sketch painting recently using basic acrylic paint.

AHH,

It sounds like you are getting ready for a serious first term, hehe. Video games? I too am seriously thinking about playing them for the first time (no joke) to help me catch up with current trends and designs. BTW, did you go to the graduation show last time?

Nah, I didn't. How was it? did you get to talk to the graduates? I'm always curious about what they have to say...
Yeah, video games (the ones with very flashy effects) inspire me a lot more because I'm "actively involved" in the process. I limit my time though. Stories too. I'm planning to read all the vampire chronicles novels by Anne Rice. I just watched Interview With the Vampires again, along with evolution 1&2, 30 days of night, blade trilogy... I'm thinking of doing a whole portfolio book designing vampire things...cars... I dont know, dark but sexy stuff! :P
