If you don't fancy Gimp, try to get hold of Photoshop Elements, it's like a taster version of the full blown thing but doesn't require a re-mortgage. But both are INFINITELY better than paint-by-numbers mspaint; forget that joke of a program ever exists. With your designs, try posting your sketches as mspaint kinda ruins them.

no, its not the next best thing. its not even 4th or 5th best. "best" isnt even remotely close. on the scale of next best things to photoshop, smearing poo on ur face rates higher that ms paint.
i heard a rumour about being able to download the 30-day free trail of photoshop cs2 off the adobe website and getting a free program off the net that generates a cracked serial code. but hey, u didnt hear that from me, right?
Adobe made PS rediculously simple to crack so young designers stole it, learned they couldnt live without it and bought it when they turned pro. Its rverywhere, and it is the best.
