hey guys, time is flying and i'm still thinking about which school i'll attend to. after considering many schools, here are the two most reasonable options for me:
IED: 3 yr course. Total fee: 21.000€ too many students, and I was told that they are now interested more in making money that giving a high quality education
SPD: 1 yr basic product course + 1 yr master in transportation design: €20.000 More professional, smalls groups, useful partnerships with Audi, etc.
My background: i've been drawing cartoons all my life, but just few months drawing cars. I think I'm learning a lot, but still far away. I'm taking a car-design course here in Argentina in order to improve a lot, before going to any of those schools.
so, what do you think about these two options? what would you choose? have you heard anything about them?
you do know that there good and far less expensive places to study? right? Did you check out the Article on design schools in BusinessWeek? I know there's some false info there, but at least it'll give you an idea. LINK
I was joking!!! In IED we tray to do our best, we ask a lot to our students, we collaborate and use in didatics big and important carmakers, we have passionated professors and we belive in our students. We do high quality education and we prove it every year... you can see it at Geneve or in Auto & Design magazine. We are not perfect, but we try it a lot. I can tell you that because I lead the school.
