hi, I live in Canada and I'm going to apply for art Center's fall 2008 session. But on the site it says work should not be submitted on a CD. So I wonder do I just print out copies of my drawings and renders and send it to them in a folder?

You can make color copies if you don't want to send in your originals for the portfolio.

yeah, i think schools/companies receiving CD portfolios are a real turn off.

Just make copies of key sketches, along with color renderings, etc...
Years ago, I just submitted them in a black portfolio case.
Make sure to take the price tag off.

Print it on gold leaf if you like if the work isnt any good it goes in the bin. Thats the case for studios anyway. Just look at the better featured portfolios and emulate them.

...or you can sandwich a few $100 bills in between the pages if you think that'll improve your chances...

I'm going to sent 20 or so pieces similar to the Mazdas I posted. I guess my biggest concern is do they allow the drawings being copied and pasted into a group or do they want a copy of each original drawing?
