Couldn't you double major in both of them? I double majored in mechanical engineering and materials science, so if those two can be doubled, I'd say that complimentary design degrees could be as well.

(I minored in graphic design and digital media production)

JD, if memory serves me correctly you did a BA (Hons) in Clay Throwing.
You got a turd, er, third.
We laughed as clay relocated to the ceiling by you started raining on your model. Karma.

Zig-a-zig Ahhhh.

It was payback for dropping that truck tyre off the fire escape onto the boat buck in the 2nd year haw haw haw. Gotta take carma like that on the chin splitter when it happens.

Anyone thinking of going to the Moscow designers night thing? Could be a good excuse to sample some cool vodka work on its home turf..

u say vechile is very aero biased, thats one aspect of car design i also like as well as styling.
what should i do??

Take transport, trans/product or auto styling, if you wanna specialise in aero like me do vehicle if you wanna dabble in it do one of the other 1s.

There is an aero module in 2nd year being taken by my good friend Dr Geoff Le Good, he is very knowledgable and friendly and was my mentor in final year and through my atempt at the motorsport MSc i did earlier this year.

As you said Rich we didnt get to use the tunnel, but isnt aero design strictly fluid mechanics? This is a completely different discipline from auto styling.

The two disciplines can work hand in hand if you want

The aero module in year 2 is a laugh but you get some people who react with "sums? wot's them doing in course wiv scribbling?

MD is making a valid point; when I applied for Cov I was initially on consumer product design but with a few choice modules under my belt here I am, a fully fledged un-employed car designer.

My drawing skills were and still are a pile of poo!

If you do vehicle dont expect your drawing to get better! Mine did kinda! I became more adventurous in drawing angles!
