I was reading some of the older topics and i read that "if you're in it for the money ..blabla". But what is the next step for a designer.. does he just stay in the same position for the rest of his life or are there different levels? What about young design pros, someone like Polo Mint or Melonball, where do you see yourself in 10 years..do you have a chance at becoming a design director or some kind of bigshot?

Dude theres plenty of time but first off get your ass on a good Uni course, work your t*@s off, kiss as much **** as possible then after all that hopefully gat a job. Then you can think about the actual direction of your career. Some people have stayed designing with companies for years as they're obviously happy and settled, others have moved on from place to place as some work can be of a contracted nature.

Its good that your getting the overall scope for the industry but I suppose everyone who wants to work in this field wants to get to the top someday, and theres no reason why you cant set your goals that high. Good luck.
