SE, you've got some serious work right there. I enjoyed the site and the designs. Tell me, in the pics of the sketches section, are they touched up by Photoshop are are they all done purely by hand?

Just updated the site with some minor additions. Some links might still need to be sorted out.
1. The illustrations in the "Sketch" section, where it's indicated as marker & chalk on marker paper, etc. was not retouched in Photoshop. Some of the highlights were done the old fashion way - using a real airbrush with opaque white ink.
2. The Porsche Boxster sketch - done for an actual Porsche project commisioned by Grant Larson - was drawn on Letraset/Letramax marker paper.
They are (falsely) known by other names, but they were originally made by Izumiya in Japan. They are the model C1 through C10. These things are ridiculously expensive and almost impossible to find, so if you can find some, let me know.
I got mine a loooong time ago and I've got only half the set of ten (C5 to C10).
I've since made a modified copy of a hybrid C5 & C6 and that's the only curve I use exclusively.
i spent the day on the net trying to track these down. NO LUCK AT ALL. I did notice something similar in a manga drawing kit so i emailed the company. I'll let you know what they say.
Heh heh, these things are wickedly difficult to find, but if you do get some, they are probably the best curves to have in terms of helping you with your car sketches.
I got mine more than ten years ago (!) from a small, obscure shop somewhere in downtown Tokyo. I did'nt have enough dough to get the entire set, so I got half of it.
I'm afraid to even use it on a regular basis lest they get broken, so I made a modified copy out of polycarbonate and that's the ONLY curve I use.
Let me know if you are sucessful, so I could get the other half of the set.
