i think the best thing about automotive design is the balance of the different aspects of design. it has heaps of the best bits, like aesthetics, form, and possibilites, and less of the boring stuff (wen ur lucky) like engineering. yeah i know we do it but most of the time were doing the fun stuff.

the thing with freelance is its good cos eventually you can be picky about wot projects you take on (wen u reach a high level), but wen starting out youll need to take on anything u can get, but this is good cos it gives u a broad range of experience. one of the hardest things in the beginning is knowing how much to charge! and dont forget u have to do ur own tax!
