good jobby - well I'll let you guess that one.
Polo mint, thanks for the answer about the absorbent ref material. And I never asked you about "good jobby." So are you saying that the salary varies depending on the age in some European OEM besides experience? BTW "As for your work, you need to rapidly improve your level to be in with a chance - sounds harsh but Im being honest." Thanks for evaluting my above work. It is natural that you ask me to improve my skill only after glancing at a sketch roughly done in one minute. sih76, designer designing what he guess as customer's favorite and customer liking it or not is the way customer and designer interacts with each other. I think it is productive circulation of inputs and as technology moves ahead, customers will find their way more into the design process more sooner than they do now when all oems do is marketing surveys and group samplings. I said earlier that I am sick of angular headlights but if market demands it, I am going to produce them. Thanks for your opinions. I will keep them in my mind all the time.

Thank you very much for the critique. I didn't draw that one to be evaluated and obviously it seems like it is this forum's nature to comment and evaluate at anything. As a beginner to this forum, I didn't know that.
I would appreciate more if you "told me what was bad with that quick drawing and how it could have been better." As far as I know these are the basics of criticizing. instead of saying "I saw your picture. Now improve." Would appreciate a lot if you are a little more kind.

I'll be honest with you man I honestly think getting told what someone else thinks of your drawing, though useful, isnt anything like as important as just sitting studying how really shithot work erm.. works. My hilarious Benny Hill moment before was an honest reflection of good practice: study work you consider really effective, cross referencing material from art, architecture, auto, science fiction, f**king good music etc, ignore the actual specific concepts but study the process, the thought flow and innovation, as well as practical technique, modify your own work flow with what youve found, then wipe 'the floor' with Polos funny looking robots.

Most people in the creative industry have big egos and that's pretty much a given - regardless if you are in product design or graphic design, so you need to get used to that. Plus, don't get offended by posts in a forum, most people are a lot nicer in person. Every interesting thread I've seen always goes to the shithole and gets personal, but don't let that discourage you. And don't take others critique of your drawing too seriously either. If you have the skills and drive, doesn't matter how old you are. But like life, you have to want it really bad enough to make it in this field.

Reading your posts, I kept feeling that you are really listening to good music. What are you listening to? Mahavishnu Orchestra? I love'em!

The voices in me 'ed suggest a sublime cross section of Stones, Stereolab, Cannible Corpse, Talking Heads, Ae and Radio4. I like Womens Hour its hypnotic menopausal audio porridge.

wizz70, thanks so much for your comments. I never knew this industry would be full of egos and thanks to you and several others I am getting some hints of it. Thank you so much for helping me out here. I better polish my people handling skill more.
JD Coke, you are a lot more modern than I am. I like Stereo Lab too.
