Congratulations, it really is a great experience to get accepted. Be prepared for lots of all-nighters, no more weekends (except for a movie now and then) and 24/7 dedication. And as much as I tell you about it, you really don't know what's expecitng you. It's exciting, frustrating, overwhelming, mind-blowing and pretty much will change the way you see everything around you, specially the school itself. You're coming on Summer? That's a good term, many people will take a term off, it won't be as crowded as Fall. You have more time to work in the Model Shop. Forget everything you learned so far and come with a clean mind. You have A LOT to learn. And there's one thing you'll hear a lot: Welcome to Art Center
Hey thanks Jabor!!! Yeah Im pretty psyched about coming to ACCD. And yes I've heard ALL about the all nighters and all. But to tell you the truth...I had this gut feeling deep down that I HAD to come here...it was like a calling and I can't really explain why I feel like that. Maybe its because I love design so much or maybe Im overconfident or maybe its my stupid belief in destiny and fate. In fact one of the reasons I decided to come to ACCD was the fact that it was hard...I wanted to test myself under pressure and see what the real world was all about. So the more you say its tough, exciting, depressing, overwhelming and all that crap, the more I feel that I made the right choice.
