Im getting close to choosing the universities im going to apply to...I was wondering what the following unis are like in terms of Automotive courses in genereal (including engineering etc) particularly repuation wise...???

Huddersfield
Coventry
Teeside
Sheffield Hallam
Oxford Brookes
Bradford

Dont know if these comments are too late for you (in time for clearing tho, just)... here I go anyway: Out of these, I would have said Bradford and Brookes are the best for engineering (Oxfords the best to live in out of the two), I wouldnt even bother with a technology course as employers in the are looking for engineering degrees. None of these are really any cop for design, Huddersfield and Bradford are getting there but are lacking the resources and contacts that Northumbria and Coventry have (Newcastle's the best to live in out of the two). Theres plenty on the forum about those two! Job- wise engineering is the way forward, but follow what you do best and are most passionate about, one path requires a lot of maths and the other the need to be a hot pencil! Last resort would be to get a 2:1 then join a graduate programme in finance, marketing, management or whatever you fancy!
