I'd jump at the chance to work in America for that kind of money!

Good luck on the course Tricky! Are you going to make the degree show for an 'old boys' reunion (send an e-mail direct to my hotmail acc. if you want)?

it's only 58000 people, don't u think a designer should earn more than that. being a cardesigner is like an inventor. i think 58000 is not enough because anyone can open a small business without any talent and can make more than that a year.

I don't believe you are aware of the statistics on how frequently small businesses fail.

And I don't know what neighborhood you want to live in but 58000 starting salary for a new graduate is quite a hefty sum for someone living in detroit. Of course if you're middle-age with a family with tons of school debt it may be a different story.

This is a moot point to students; dont worry about how much or little pros make, just work on your projects.

So you cant run a business unless you are an entrepreneur, but you can run a business if youre not an entrepreneur.

that's is depend. u need to be a good entrepreneur to run big business. for a small business like family owned, u don't really need to be a good entrepreneur to be successful.

business article

That's just one, there are many other articles which show that running a business is not without its risks. And luyenalex, the most frequent cause of business failure is mismanagement. A common trend you'll find in why businesses close down is because the people that started the business didn't know how much work it would take to run it successfully.
