i know there were several variables in schools eligible to winning this (needed atleast 3 students to submit their work, etc) but does anyone know if Art Center/CCS were eligible for winning this?
I c u rrently go to the academy of art(1st sem) and am considering tryin for ACCD for i want more competition (though i'm told here i simply have to place it on myself). I'm sort of up and down everyday about where i want to go/stay and with ACCD being so much more expensive. But this news was very suprising..
I wasn't even aware of any CCS trans students submitting their work for it. We were kept really busy with sponsored projects, so they didn't even mention this to us.

well atleast one kid named Byung Cho from your school sent something in as it shows his stuff on the news page for the contest as a runner up or something. Shows another runner up from Coventry..
maybe that byung cho is just one of your rejects who didn't get invited onto a sponsored project ?? ;D
this discussion is actually debatable. because i dont acknowledge much information regard to this competition, does anyone know the entry number of students representing each school?
based on my observation, there's quite a number of AAU students' work participated in this entry. and i think the main advantage of AAU students where that they tend to focus "more approperatly" in this design topic, which was "innovation", while byung cho from ccs didnt really focus into that field.

haha well ya, I don't think it's RATED top design school either.. just won for this competition. And i would also like to know the number of entree's from each school; as to qualify for being voted top design school, a school needed a minimum of 3 entrees. I know there was atleast 1 from CCS and 1 from Coventry as they were displayed on the competition page.
Basically with all the debate about the CCS/ART Center and who's being better, I thought this was a surprise to have AAU win a competition like this. (I know there are LOTs of design competitions and I don't believe this is the biggest nor the smallest).
