I know that CCS claims that it has a lot of its graduates working in the car idustry, and i've tried asking companies themselves by sending emails and stuff, but they don't know what i'm looking for. So my question is, does anybody know the actual hiring trend by companies? I want to know because, for example, someone on this forum said that BMW execs are mostly from ACCD? So if thats true, that means youll have a better chance to work for BMW if you go to ACCD? And if thats true, who hires CCS grads?

From what I've head CCS is more popular among the domestic brands (like GM, Ford, Chrysler) and some of the asian brands (Toyota). ACCD is desired more by european companies. Although theoretically you should be able to get a job at any company you want as a graduate of either CCS or ACCD.

Yeah like burns said. you graduate from ccs and accd you are assumed to be the best, so really. you should just about get a job from any brand. but you can also get hired as a lawrence grad, pratt grad, SCAD grad, RISD grad and as a cia grad also. maybe even lesser known schools

The other thing to keep in mind is what jobs most of the students from specific schools are trying to get. From what I've seen, it seems that more international students go to ACCD then CCS. So if more accd students are targeting overseas brands for employment, it only makes sense that more accd students will get offers from overseas. I know it's a little difficult for some people to understand, but there are people who want to stay in the states for a variety of reasons.
Also, the biggest source of employment for BMW is actually Pforzheim, not ACCD or CCS.
