here you go:
rca:
big name - good connections - very creative environment - quite chaotic - london (!) - astronomous living costs - lots of inspiration and distraction - tuition fees - equipment could be better - post experience program guys and research students bring additional input - hyde park - art bar - very international - english - lots of freedom - rather conceptional
pforzheim:
i believe pforzheim to be rather structured - clay, alias, tape, everythings there - especially the diploma course has always very impressive work on display during their degree show - master course doesn't seem to be there yet - pforzheim has good industry connections - especially to the german automotive industry - think the diploma course is tought in german - master in english - no tuition fees - a highly competitive environment - has the tendency to be more on the "style-side" of cardesign
strate college:
don't know too much about this school - good connections to renault - very impressive degree shows. final year student gets a first year student to help with the execution of the project - maybe "french" and "poetic"...?
umea:
very good workshops - young course - good connections to swedish industry (saab, volvo, volvo trucks, scania) - no tuition fees - expensive living costs (esp. alcohol) - highly competitive - good alias skills - very far up in the north - hardly any sun in winter which means u can concentrate on your projects - well structured - high pressure level - very scandinavian and everything is perfectly organised
hm - obviously thats only my impression and i guess i can only really talk about rca.
so if anyone thinks that i wrote complete bull**** here, feel free to correct me!
