Both Peters have a funny sense of humour. Atkinson comes across as quite negative but he can be alright here and there. Barker is similar and again theres abit of sarcasm but hes alright when you get to know him. Hardcore mini enthusiast as well. Overall youll only deal with these two mainly in your first 2 years after that its David Brown and Brian Clough.
Interesting you should say that John, we had Neil Birtley from 1st year spiritual successor till final day of final year!
We didn't see much of Brian until the final term of final year. Alan Birch was in and out, we saw him in passing. Chris Johnson was the most regular to walk through the clay rooms when we were working in final year.
Well im just finishing my first year... we had Alan and Neil for the first term, and Peter Atkinson, Louise and Elaine (ergonomists) for the second term, and Sean McCarten pretty much throughout. Seans a legend lol. I think he was new this year though, an engineering lecturer but seems to pop up everywhere.
