Hey everyone!! I know none of you know me and vice versa but I just gotta share this with the world!! I honestly cant believe im going to ACCD!! This has been my dream for 12 years. Honestly guys you can do anything you put your mind to. Just so you know Im entering Summer 2008. Anyone else coming this may?

Well I made a portfolio of 4 projects( a plane, time machine, a jeep and sports car)
u dont have to draw like a pro. Art center wants to see you THINK. I included all my rough drawings and ideas. The trick is to think visually...thats what they wanna see in you.
Also included a "few" photoshop renders. Dont fret over them too much. They have a special class for that too!!
And another thing. Include some non-vehicle designs too. I included life-support systems and spacesuits for the time machine.
I see, well for mine I had 3 main projects, A truck concept, The ultimate first car, and the Ultimate family car. And in addition I had three "design studies" where I explored vehicle designs for Busses, Semi-trucks and Cars. I sent A LOT of doodles that were both relevant and irrelevant to the projects. I didn't have much non-vehicle.
Did you only send original works or did you print it on paper as well?
I wouldnt worry about it too much. the doodles are really what the college looks for. Many great designers doodle in the bathtub long before the final render is made.
As for originals, I sent all the sketches as is on a A4 size sheets. I sent about 30 sheets with drawings on both sides.
