I am in for 20k relatively lucky, freshman year was worst had 10k saved burned through that first year got another 5k added to scholarships each sophomore and junior years so was ok by the end. there are a lot of opportunities for prize money and paid internships if you are good and lucky and that helps. Submit FASFAs early and keep your GPA up, and eyes open for stuff posted around the school its tough once your in the grind. Dont be wasteful, I know a lot of guys buying and tuning their cars with loan money who ended up 100k in debt.
whats your realistic estimation budget for supplies (during school term/ or monthyly, yearly basis)? I know different school(curriculum) has different demands...
Now I have a question: what about out-of-state students to CCS (as well as CIA)? Is it a big increase over the 27k I have seen quoted here?
CCS sent me some information today and I am wanting to know. I will be sending an application and portfolio to them by August, applying for the fall 2009 semester.
its not going to cost more if you are out of state, it is a private art college. However it might cost less if you are in state because you are eligible for state grants and can live at home.

Its good that youre thinking about school debt but shouldnt hinder you from pursuing your goals in life. Just have to pick a major that pays well after you graduate. Its almost impossible to get out of paying back student loans.
