Well entrance into coventry only asks for a B or higher in Art. And of course points, and your portfolio review/interview. Im first year there atm and we have just had a couple of basic introductions to physics and stuff but its nothing that isnt taught at gcse so far. Anything maths or science based i presume is taught as most universities during the course.

As a professional Designer since 1990, I can tell you that the most important things are IDEAS, and being able to draw! If you cannot invent ideas or communicate them properly, then all the Maths in the world, or even the best spelling, will not help you.
I was rejected by Coventry on several occasions, and finally Geaduated at the RCA.
Good luck and ignore the naff comments here, just concentrate on what I have said above and you should be fine. (BTW, I am hopeless at Maths and spelling)
