Hey. I'm a student at Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School in Calgary. I'm interested in car design, and I'm doing a project on my future. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the steps in becoming a car designer?
Thanks.

Theres loads of work out there. Cars, computer games, furniture, interiors, hotel lobbies, sinks, book covers, alloy wheels, jewelry, books, graphics, packaging, luxury items, watches, typography, photography, pornography; you just need to be flexible see?
American TV has told you "following your dream and staying true to yourself" is the ultimate aim of life. The problem is most people decide they like the idea of designing cars when they are children so the dream is a childishly naive one, and sticking to it is tantmount to being inflexible and stubborn. Life isnt like that and doesnt help you if you don't help yourself. Stop watching TV. Start reading everything. Wear sunscreen, etc.
