I know some of you know me through uni and through this forum as Merc560SEC as well as rcarr but following my accident in august 06 I have been fighting a battle with the Crown to avoid losing my licence for "dangerous driving" after crashing into the local police station.

My defence was centred all around a technical fault in the car. We changed lawyers half way through the case and won it on the 28th Feb and I am a free man.

3 weeks ago, I went to see the optometrist after suffering from dizzy spells and feeling rotten. The optician booked me in to see a opthalmologist the next day. He sent me for an CT then an MRI scan, it was found that I had a medium sized brain tumour on my right frontal lobe. I was booked into one of the top neurosurgery hospitals in the UK to have a biopsy taken off it but the day of the surgery I had a seizure and the surgeon decided to completely remove the tumour as a whole.

2 weeks since the surgery, I've been at home being told to take it easy, I am in good spirits and I am the same old me apart from having a titanium plate and pins in my head and a nicely cut scalp. I am seeing the neurologist tomorrow and hopefully he will reduce my medication so I can try and get my life back on track, even though I am not allowed to drive for at least 6 months!

Cheers! Richard

Look after your cancer and it will last a lifetime. I once thought my balls were going to rot off which wouldve been great as it would mean I{d stop giving people the worst STD of all where they swell up and a gross little version of me grows inside them but sadly it was a false alarm. Finding out involved a man glopping jelly on them and fondling them with some buzzing ultrasonic device; pictures are available on my website, payments by paypal gladly accepted.
Although its obviously excellent news to know that you're going to be ok are you going to miss the special powers you developed like the ability to read minds or divide huge numbers in your head like in that film Pi?

hahahahahaha...etc etc

Is this a free forum to post any medical conditions that we feel peoplpe who don't know us at all might be interested in hearing about? It is? Grrrrreat! I've been going to the gym recently and I'm pretty sure I've got some athletes foot going on down there, itches like hell. I went to Boots the chemist and they gave me some fungal foot powder and to be fair it does seem to have pretty much cleared up now though I was a bit worried that it might flare up again so just to be on the safe side I've removed both my feet using my swiss army knife. Probably not the smartest move I ever made, apparently the gangrene is gonna kill me...

Why do you think I smoked so much? Its like Bill Hicks says, pick your brand.
I always bought Smoking-can-lead-to-male-infertilities but they never worked. Its just an occupational hazard of banging 19-year-olds I guess, theyre rediculously fecund. (Isnt that word the greatest by the way? Its a whole multimedia experience in six letters mmmmmm). Teenage pregnancy is a really big social issue in the UK so I was just trying to do my bit, which I think is pretty commendible to be fair. How many other young men could claim to be so responsible? Not many, theyre all off driving their Mercs into walls and so on.
Aaaanyway Im onto Unlucky Strikes these days and so far so good, just gotta keep thinking negative.

So whats the legal position of someone who managed to get off crashing into a police station by claiming their car was responsible who subsequently discovers a much more probable reason for their blacking out and going off the road? Is it like in that Ice T song Thats How Im Livin where he raps about the statute of limitations?
Speaking of, I totally saw Ice T in Houston Airport Arrivals about three weeks ago, he was travelling economy. He went to Crenshaw High.... IT WAS FLY

Back to the topic, Im glad youre not going to die from mindrot, take it easy, Im off to sit in a bar with my Mrs (shell never read this whish is good as she tries to stab me in the eyes when she hears me calling her that hahahahaha) and watch surf idiots try to drown themselves, with sadly little success
here.

SO LAWNG SUCKERZ

Smoking is all very well but what about the morals of it?

In this country they can't try you again when you've been found not guilty unless there is obvious proof that you did do it, and I didn't! The Crown has taken it and my lawyer did a damn fine job in proving my innocence.

We proved that it was the car at fault and my lawyer even pulled out more evidence of a similar incident that happened 10 years earlier.

As for the tumour, apparently it was the size of an orange, it has been cut up into several small pieces and has been analysed as a grade 2 astro-cytoma, not as worrying as it could be, they are keeping an eye on it over the next few months and if the remains of it grows I'll need radio therapy.

That would be a cool job, keeping an eye on the pieces to see if they grow, like when Ray reads stories to the slime in Ghostbusters 2, only more cancerous.
