No, it's not you, Polo LOL. You post stuff all the time. The truth is that Janet Dobinson ticks me off with all her sarcastic remarks to innocent questions and her apparent inability to produce a sketch to save her life.
Sadly It is a problem that the pro's cant post their regular work. We have to repect that the clients own what we do. We spend so much of day producing sketches, the last thing you want to do when you get home tired from work is do even more sketches.
Also Car designers posting cars, may feel that it looks like they are showing too much online. Future employers may question their discresion. etc etc.
I think sometimes the sarcastic element just has to be taken with a pinch of salt, its very easy for all of us to get upset with comments on such a forum, especially as we often get into this 'alter ego' stuff. We probably would not dream of saying some of the things said on this forum to each other, face to face.
Conversly in amongst the sarcasm some of these guys have a valid point, especially when regarding sketches. When you post a sketch, not evryone will leap up and say its great. Feedback will be given - you open youselves up to that critism. if you dont want to hear it then dont post.
Anyway I'm of to draw battle samurai demons - honestly!
Maybe if we all just posted things like we were talking together face-to-face we would all have a more pleasant experience on the forums. I personally always try to criticize with tact and respect for the person that made the sketch. It's all common courtesy, right?
