Finally someone willing to come out and admit it! I agree with you Dezign. I Think I accepted the new BMW designs much faster than many of the members who boldy claimed their hatred for the new design direction. In fact in several of my posts from late '04 to '05, I mentioned the new designs would grow on to a large percentage of the haters (or more accurately those who couldn't accept such a drastic change). It is revolutionary. You see other companies taking design features from the new bmw's and incorporating them into their designs. Extreme designs? yes, but only when compared to two things: (1). The last gen of bimmers, and (2). the competition. I refer to the designs as sculpture on wheels as the flame surfacing is amazing. Sure improvements can be made, that's what the future is for; The X3 has yet to win me completely over, but the current designs are powerful, aggressive, dynamic, and sporty - four things which BMW have been known for throughout the years. Don't forget Adrian Van Hooeydonk who designed the 7 series and if I'm not mistaken the 6 series.

I agree completely!
The best thing about BMW Design is that you can either hate it or love ir, but even those who hate have to admit that those are cars that give you something to feel! They don't go unnoticed. By seeing a 7 series, one may think it's the most beautiful car and someone else may think is the ugliest car. That's fine because BMW cars are not design to look good or bad, but they are designed to make you feel something, and that's what makes them so much special than Mercedes or Audi...

i agree completely..i have always been a bangle fan since i saw the X-coupe concept.(ive even qouted him) i mean amazing..they can be fussy but i love the sharp lines..even though the interiors arent as exciting(i wish the dash was..the doors are the best parts of bimmer interiors)..every one is getting inspired by the bangle butt, sharp lines, hoffmiester kink(spelling) even I-drive and I-drive sucks to use(in the 5 series i was in i couldnt get back to the main menu from the audio.)

bimmers are full of emotion, i love how the lines mean something, they go somewhere on the body and have relationships with the other lines...each bimmer has its own face while staying a bimmer no other company can do this.

i applaud bmw and bangle and friends..lets make the next x5 and v5 a gem
