yeah, i was saddened to hear the news too... i went to college where they taugh only the best, and guess what, NO AUTODESK ANYTHING IN THAT PLACE!!!... it was all Alias (and some Adobe)...

Alias hasn't been developing it's software a lot the last years so hopefully with some 'injection' from Autodesk it will develop into a cheaper programm (Rhino is coming1
Is anyone know how is it possible these days to get a first Alias contrat when you are a beginner in using the software ? I do have a back ground in clay modeling and I did study the software on my own and now I would like to get some experience so if anyone know how to get a job I will be please to hear any kind informations.
I agree with Huggy_70 Alias development been slow because developers moved into maya development. Lets see.... Alias/Wavefront now Autodesk/Alias we know about change.
