Sad for some people, some are happy thinking that new products will have best features from both the worlds...

but its true.

Now all alias softwares will be Autodesk !

I dont see this as a bad thing, Autodesk is a smart compay and more than likely bought Alias to have a product in areas that their others can't go.

I doubt you'll see any big changes to Alias anytime soon.

Alias hasn't been developing it's software a lot the last years so hopefully with some 'injection' from Autodesk it will develop into a cheaper programm (Rhino is coming1 Wink

I agree with Huggy_70 Alias development been slow because developers moved into maya development. Lets see.... Alias/Wavefront now Autodesk/Alias we know about change. Cool

annoying can't post the link as a link because of ()

i know its the Maya one, but it still shows how Alias became alias under Pre-release history.

it shows allot of mergers....but doesn't include recent ones such as the buy out a few months ago or a year? or Autodesk's purchase.

long term maya users have been used to change.
