If you're using Rhino to render you may not have many options. Do you have a render engine? Flamingo? Brazil? Maxwell?

Building a relatively realistic model is only one step, the "photoshoot" is far more important to produce believable results. Without one, you'd have a better chance painting it by hand than messing about in Photoshop to compensate.

Go check out Rhinoceros's gallery in industrial design section and see the results of renders (photos) done with Rhino as the model builder and many other renderers to make the final results. Good luck and next time post some ideation sketches so we can help you execute closer to your concept.

Hi there!

I don't remember quite good the precise names of the tools, but here there are some tips (which can help you no matter which software you use)
- The shadows on the floor might look softer (look at the shadows edges that seem to be too sharp)
- When you assign materials to surfaces, try to give the materials different properties, so that you can explore the way the material behaves.
- I think the tyres look awesome! Just a question: are they supposed to be gray or black?
- How many lights did you use? Sometimes the perfect effect is reached using more than one light (and using different types of lights: focused, omni, daylight, etc.)
- I do not remember good, but in 3DSMAx and in Solid Works (another CAD software) there's something called "Depth Cue" or something like that. This feature makes the render looks even more real, beacuse it makes the closer parts of the object (closer to the observer) look clearer than the farer ones. This feature must also be in Rhino.
- Sometimes it helps fusing the backgroung with the floor, so that it seems there's is only one backgroung (like THIS.)
- You might also try something different with the floor, giving it some kind of mirror reflection property, so that the floor reflects your vehicle (in my personal opinion the reflection should not have the same contrast than the vehicle... the reflections should look softer)

Well... I think that would be all. I'm gonna try to check Rhino again so that I can tell you the right names of the tools.
For now, I hope it is useful for you.

Good luck...
