If you have no experience with Class A, forget about that and first learn to use the programme to gain experience.

Imageware is very much an advanced technical tool for surface modeling and reverse engineering. There is not much free learning resources for it, just its help contents. As per my experience you will get the most of it if you are already familiar with digital modeling and basic techniques for surface modeling and using Nurbs and Polygons and knowing one or two other software.
You my learn much about Class A surface modeling by starting with the Learning Edition of StudioTools (now Autodesk AliasStudio) and for general 3D modeling the learning edition of Maya and an evaluation of Rhino would be much helpful as there are much more learning stuff and tutorials all around. Gain that much experience then Imageware will be an easier tool to learn than any other software I mentioned in the early stage. It can be well integrated into Unigraphics (NX) for a total CAD modeling too. Very potent tools.
