Hi, i'm a freshman at VT, and in my spare time i've been trying these four tutorials, but with difficulty. Confused

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k124/cbyerley/Tutorial_trouble_4.jpg

The tutorials in the upper left and lower right are by A. Mac Donald and H. Belker (respectively). The one in the upper right is by Hussein Alttar obviously and the one in the lower left comes from http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/37777087/.

All help is greatly appreciated; thank you Razz

it seems that you have alot of blotchy areas of color therefore learn how to use the pen tool then you can block out the areas that you want to fill. i recomend using different layers for each fill and saving when you have all of the base colors down then you can go in and dodge and burn and add all the nice touches. it will help if you have some type of digital tablet when dodging and burning. i recomend a wacom if you have the cash.

Hi Max!
John is right... you should use a tablet. A tablet is like a digital piece of paper; it means that you use a digital pen and a "digital piece of paper" as well, connected to your computer via USB.
Wacom is actually a very good choice (see. www.wacom.com). This company offers amazing stuff such as screens that can be used as a screens or as tablets (it means that you can draw your ideas directly on the screen... it is so cool!)
