I really wanna join in on this too, and I definitely wanna go for team Europe!! Now I may still be a high school student but I think I got some pretty good ideas flowing in my head. Plus now I get the summer off I I'll have enough time to work on sketches and everything. If it's not too late, count me in, thanks!

I agree. I've been watching here waiting for it to take off but it just gets talked to death with no progress.

Personally I think it's just getting over complicated. Pick a theme, set a deadline, and let everyone roll. Vote on a winner, the end! If it could be run like the sketch groups at Conceptart.org it would be a blast.

Ok, its been idle. For those of you really want to get this going, lets start it on our own. Create three topic, Team Euro, Team Asia and team America. Only those team memeber of those continents could post in the those threads, Asia in the team Asia etc etc. after this has been done, we try and plan out how the subjects will be picked. Hopefully CDN mods could play a part. We need to get through phase 1 first which is organizing the team via individual threads.

Hello, my Name is Nyko, I just spoke with the original poster of this and from now on, I will be in charge of this. I am planning on launching this on August 1st 2007. I want all those who are interested to e-mail me ASAP at idesigncars@gmail.com
and let me know your experience, what team you want to be on, and where you are from. I am not against people in the U.S. being on euro teams, that might be good to have some cross cultural reference. I also would love to see some samples of your work. I am serious about getting this off of the ground and taking this over. As I said I have just talked to the original poster, and have been given full permission to run this from now on.

August 1st 2007 is the start date, and I will launch this that day. If you contact me after that date, it will not be too late. I will give until August 10th for people to join teams, but for those of you who are interested, please contact me ASAP.

In addition I will be running this with the support of CenterMotion.com, which is an online resource for upcoming designers, and I will poste huge amounts of infromation and resources on that site.

So please, don't think this is dead. Lets get this going. August 1st is right around the corner.
