hm, are there any results? isnt it strange to launch something without having a theme?. i think this competition idea is basicly a good one, but ive never saw one working out. id be really keen on seeing if peepl really come together, uniting their different styles and preferences to one concept.

Never gonna happen. The thread was started on April 12th and almost six months later still nothing.
It's a good idea but too complicated to pull off here. They should just pick a simple subject every month or two and then everyone can post their work. Too bad CDN didn't take charge and set the topics.

Try having one team be young guys, the other old timers. It would be interesting to see the difference between what 2 generations percieve as beauty. Get together with members of your generation and start telling the other generation you need to show them what a car is supposed to look like, AND keep at it until they accept the challenge.

hey guys i havent been the most active member here (i promised to post some sketches of the Jaguar XJ like 50 years ago but didnt do that yet...)anyhoo, we need someone who has the time to become the leader of this (awesome) idea. then everything will start to flow and it'll be massive. after a few comps, we probably dont need a leader and everything will be nice and smooth... someone who has some time needs to volunteer. please?

we did have a leader, he's gone...i was the leader of the first but only 2 people posted work, the others idunno faded off into the wind...
just start off with simple contest like we've been doing for the past few years...nothing complicated and drawn out like this one, just something simple..and if anyone else has any XK concepts post them
