We should also start brainstorming so Ideas for our team's design... To be fair I think we should create jobs for each team member.

We should get a couple of guys working on Exterior design, some guys doing Interior Design, Wheel design, and Light Design (Headlights and Taillights), or Renderer (someone who can render photos with Photoshop, corel, or alias)...

Before we start drawing, we should brainstorm a concept, putting many of our ideas together, this is for a 2027 model car, we have to bring the conviences of tommorow to today...

As for acheiving this concept we have to develop and design theory/guidelines...

I say that as a team we pitch for these main ideas in our concept

-comfort
-visibility
-versatility
-the ultimate driving cabin

Please reply members or Team Peugeot, we can really achieve a great concept, and design, if we use teamwork...

Everyone should have some sketches up by the 22nd... You should sumbit either exterior, interior, wheel, or light designs...

You should email me your designs, and I'll send all the designs to team members by private message...

The Brief from Vexed&Glorious:Geneva is coming up, and your team has been chosen directly to push your brand's image further into the future.You are to create a concept vehicle that is safe, efficent, fun, useful, creative and innovative.The design is not only to represent your vision for your brand in 2017, but your vision of the automobile itself.You are encouraged to create a vehicle that:


* fits your environment
* multifunctional(for example a concept i came up with the sun-sune- a 1 seat convertable and a beach tanning bed...be creative)
* original
* unique
* appeal to a specific group(for example, the i-pod generation...stay at home moms...dads on the go...etc)
* conatins a visable theme



But there is a catch:
Team Renault-You are to design a vehicle for a very warm climate, think blazing summers, warm winters...
Team Peugeot-You are to design a vehicle for a very cold cilmate, think freezing winters, cool summers.

*you can use a real world location*

The vehicles body style, powertrain,seating capacity etc...is up to your team.

Hi, good idea for the separate Peugeot topic.
This can be the peugeot-design team's office

I've drawn some quick little sketches on peaces of paper with lots of ideas for peugeot (nothing pretty yet since I have exams right now; and I spend most the time studying, ...and doodeling cars )and I'm looking forward to working them out.

But I think we should wait just a few more days before we get to work; untill there's a clear briefing about what we have to design.
There's also no point in choosing main ideas without a clear brief.
We only know that it has to be for 2027 but maybey we will be given another focus-point; for example "sportscar". Then you would have to choose a lot of other guidelines then when designing a "pick-up truck"


And last but not least before we get to split up in smaller units, we should brainstorm about the general look and direction for the car befor loosing ourselves in the details. (We should check the designs with these guidelines regularly to see to it that we stay true to our initial concept.)

Anywho, good thing starting up this topic.

this was a good idea, i rather like it...like stated before me, its best to wait for the final brief on monday or tuesday,but ill give you a hint...think Cold.

Great work making this forum! I like the idea of different positions, it makes it seem really professional. How are the positions going to be assigned? Are people going to volunteer or is someone going to select each position?

Um.. we should either volunteer, who ever claims there good at what... Or who claims they have great Ideas for whatever, exterior styling, or interior... thats how we should pick our positions for now...

I first think we sould start off by have everyone sketch an exterior design, kinda like a brainstorm sketch, it makes it easier for exterior designers to work off of some kind of inspiration...

We should elect a team leader, someone to look over everyones activities so in that case we can keep things on top and moving...

we should also exchange email's so we can really get to share our work and check up on each other progress...

i suggest we each come up with a couple of sketches showing our best ideas for the concept, then pick and choose aspects of each design, and incorporated it into the final kickass design!

Mr.Burns what position would you like... You should choose one....

Um Im gonna post some sketches maybe three different unique Ideas... maybe sumbit some grill designs, faithful to peugeot, I 'm gonna work on some interior sketchs

As for picking positions I think I wanna really work on the interior... Maybe incorporate some cool ideas, and things like that

I would also like to give interior design a try. I have some good ideas for interior, but no ideas in my head for exterior at the moment.

Rilwan is right, we should send our ideas through email, and not post it on the forum. We should only post our final design at the very end, so that Renault Team don't know what approach we're taking to our design.
