I like that boat; that would make a good render; render the boat and horizon and then flip the image and use the distort filters to tweak a good looking reflection et voila.

I also like trains; in fact you might say I love them. I like to think about them, and talk about them, and sometimes I wake from dreams of trains going into tunnels and it makes me feel happy in me kecks.
Heres a prelim sketch render of a monorail station in the outer wall of the Serehfa Fastness arcology, a 30km tall castle in an Ian Banks book.
next things to do are to fix the perspective and lighting errors, paint on loads of props and signs and add lots of hot trainspotter girls with those snazzy aluminium thermos flasks (they get me so hot, and keep me that way for hours)

BTW the gold balloon things are Mr and Mrs Krang in their best gear on holdiay from the planet's core.

Between iRacing Posts and hoverboards I had time to do some sketching on me last holiday to... The Future.

Panama July, 2051,
ACSETS

HISTORY
Construction of the ACSETS Arcology Complex began in March of 2050 at the eastern end of the of the old Pacific-Atlantic Canal. It was completed 14 months later in May, 2051. Designed by the architectural firm of Hubert, Lewis and Dewson Associates and paidfor by the DisneyHyundai Corporation, the ACSETS centre, at 30,700 metres (98425 feet) to the summit of the Fast Tower and 22000km to the orbital terminus was the tallest building in the world until the completion of the MidAfrican Space Elevator at Kilimanjaro equalled it in 2056.
However the MASE base station was located at ground level and so was less impressive than the outsized castle built in Panama.

People say that, but I've never been troubled.

Imagine the battle of Disney ACSETS where China invades and an Iraq-style rebel insurgency ensues. Maybe someone would set of a nuke in one of the smaller towers and bring it down. That would look incredible. Imagine if the big tower fell down, the top would be falling from 100,000 feet it would take ten minutes to fall and the collpse would be like a asteroid strike. Imagine all the people, falling a long way doo-oo-oown. Imagine that s**t.
