Thanks for your post but is your question relevant to the design contest?
The origins of New Triumph are rooted in 1996, when I foresaw a shift in consumer emphasis and breakthrough in the car industry towards global environmental concerns. The perceived breakthrough I called 'Triumph for the Environment'.
The TRE model is a contraction of this term, and the TRC is directly influenced by the 1950s Ferrari TRC, which was Ferrari's last official 4-cylinder-engined sports car.
Thanks for your post, of course "Triumph for the Environment" has nothing to do with the original Triumph Company.
We are not as you say lunching off the original Triumph marque, this has been redundant for over 20 years. We are using the word triumph in it's descriptive sense to desribe the merits of our ecomotive endeavours.
Any more questions about "Triumph for the Environment" before it all sinks-in to place are welcome.
