In MCD, you can display either 2-D display or scale model or Full scale model. I opted to display 1/10th scale model when I sent my entry but was asked to display only 2-D display. Does this mean the judge panel didn't like my entry as much as the ones selected for 1/10th scale model?
cyrusyn, First off, congratulations! Judging was very intense again this year. I'm not sure what your entry was since all I have here is "cyrusyn" but if you send me the details I can explain why we chose not to use your model. I'm guessing that your proposal was better explained and understandable through your 2-D work than it seemed it would be as a model. Send me some details at my office - steve.lash@us.michelin.com and I'll reply back.
To all others who got excepted. . . let me know if your planning on coming to Detroit for the show. We'll have greater media coverage this year and would obviously want you to be involved. After all that's what you get for making the final cut . . .EXPOSURE.

Steve, Thank you very much for your kindness. I will write you to your office email. I am planning to attend the upcoming NAIAS and for the MCD presentation. If there is a planned event for MCD at the NAIAS, please let me know the date and time.
smoky, It's not too much work. It's actually part of my job. Let me know which entry was yours and I'll get back to you. E-Mail me at my work address steve.lash@us.michelin.com
cyrusyn, Our Detroit office is sending me copies of your entry. I'll reply to the message you sent me at work.
