It sounds like they totally lost your entry and don't know what to do now.

To be honest, I have no idea what to make of this situation. To say that I've been disappointed by the total lack of responsiveness of CDN since the submission deadline would be a colossal understatement.

I would put the amount of time I put into my entry at (very conservatively) somewhere between 15-30hrs. To find myself in the predicament of having received nothing regarding my entry since the judging; despite following up diligently (both through this forum and e-mail) is, quite frankly, pretty ridiculous.

Keeping in mind that I did receive personal confirmation from Brett that my entry was in the system, I'm at a complete loss as to how exactly I should react. I mean, for now, I guess I'll stick to what I believe to be righteous indignation.

Come on, take 30 seconds out of your day and fire off an e-mail. At this point I don't really care what it says, but tell me something!

I would say that, under the circumstances, all rights are retained by you, including the right to use this design in any other competition.

Not all mails that are sent out actually arrive, depending on your mail provider (AOL seems to be the worst for this, and this was the case here, with none of the mails we sent actually getting through to elliots21).

For the next contest it may be possible to arrange it so you can review your submission and check your finalist/winner status yourself on the contest site (using an entry reference number that you will get on the submission confirmation page) without relying on email at all.

If anyone has any other suggestions for the next contest, please let us know.

Sorry it has taken me so long to post a follow up to this thread. All I wanted was confirmation that my entry had in fact been reviewed and eliminated. This has been confirmed to my satisfaction. Good luck to all the finalists and can't wait to see the results.
